Scraptivations layout challenge

Here is the challenge to use this sketch from Scraptivations and create a layout about me. I used this also for Lasting memories as the challenge there is for a layout about me. I have a few really good friends that I have had for years so it is me with them. I am happy and blessed to have them for friends. I used the Miracle Kit from Close to my heart.

Lasing Memories Challenge #36

Hi Everyone! The layout challenge over at lasting memories is to do a layout on yourself. So I got out the pictures from my trip to Mexico and just wished that I could enjoy that view again soon! I used some retired close to my heart paper for this lo! So here is to the warm weather hopefully coming our way soon in Michigan.

Our challenge this week was Easter.  I have been busy with dance recital for Kaitlyn this weekend and I put a few pics of that on here too!  Hopefully they will be scrapped soon!  Check out my wreath made of peeps on the post below this one too!

Lasting Memories and blog candy

  Stef from Glitterbabe's digis is sponsoring our blog challenge this week at Lasting Memories.  She let us pick out one of the digis to work with this week.  I used the Let's Dance Digital Image.  I first did my layout with this image and then a card.  I really love the image and plan to use it over and over again.  My layout is from Lisa's sketch over at Personal scrapper.  The kit I used is from the Febuary kit from Personal scrapper.  Go check them out, they have great monthly kits and a fun forums with challenges and online crops.  There is blog candy at the end of this post.  See the details there.  If you participate in our challenge this week, several of the design team members have blog candy to give away!

I also used the digi for this card.  I used the bliss paper from CTMH and small rhinestones and pearls.  I colored it in with chalk.

Lasting Memories challenge #24

Our challenge this week at Lasting Memories is to use the cricut of other diecuts.  I don't have a cricut so I used my Sizzix with the top not die.  This was connors last year of flag football and I am really nervous about the tackle football  next year.  I used the layout from the Close to my Heart magic book. 

Lasting Memories Sketch Challenge

Well I just returned to Michigan after a crop in Shipshewana Indiana. The girls and I had a blast and I even got a soak in the hot tub last night. Boy did that feel good so that is why I am posting this a little late. We had a sketch challenge this week at Lasting Memories.  Here is the sketch and here is my take on it.  I did flip the sketch to fit my particular photos.  Kaitlyn was a cheerleader this Halloween and that definetely fits her spunky personality so those are the photos that I used. I also used the new Fanfare paper from Close to my Heart that you can buy on Febuary 1st. 

Stamp Challenge at Lasting Memories

I really have to say that I struggle with using stamps on my layouts. I love to stamp and to scrapbook but I don't really seem to use them together very well so this challenge really put me out of my comfort zone. Oh well here goes. Here are a few layouts that I did with close to my heart papers! I am trying to use some of my old papers up so I can buy lots of new. The last lo uses other paper but a layout from the Imagine book from close to my  heart!

My son is in gymnastics and this is their yearly recital. He just moved up to pre team so he will be competing next year!
