Lasting Memories Challenge 29

Well it has been a busy week here at our house. It was kaitlyns birthday and she turned 8 this week. We also had a book fair for our school which went well. Anyway our challenge was to use green/white on our layout this week. I threw in a little blue too!

LMCB # 28 Your the boss

Challenge #26-Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

The challenge this week at Lasting Memories is to reduce, reuse or recycle.  Our sponsor this week is Heart Song Designs and we received a digi to use on our layout.  Go check them out!  I used bella and baby digi.  This is a layout when my son was born.  He came one day before my birthday and what a wonderful gift he was.  He will be 10 this year and that is so hard to believe.  Anyway, I used up some of my paper from chatterbox that I have had for a very long time, some old photos and buttons.  So I reduced some of my stash!  Scrolll to the bottom to see the winner of the blog candy!

Lasting Memories and blog candy

  Stef from Glitterbabe's digis is sponsoring our blog challenge this week at Lasting Memories.  She let us pick out one of the digis to work with this week.  I used the Let's Dance Digital Image.  I first did my layout with this image and then a card.  I really love the image and plan to use it over and over again.  My layout is from Lisa's sketch over at Personal scrapper.  The kit I used is from the Febuary kit from Personal scrapper.  Go check them out, they have great monthly kits and a fun forums with challenges and online crops.  There is blog candy at the end of this post.  See the details there.  If you participate in our challenge this week, several of the design team members have blog candy to give away!

I also used the digi for this card.  I used the bliss paper from CTMH and small rhinestones and pearls.  I colored it in with chalk.

Lasting Memories challenge #24

Our challenge this week at Lasting Memories is to use the cricut of other diecuts.  I don't have a cricut so I used my Sizzix with the top not die.  This was connors last year of flag football and I am really nervous about the tackle football  next year.  I used the layout from the Close to my Heart magic book.
